A passionate fan of art since she was born, Felicia Penza’s passion for design became apparent as a Ad Salesperson at Dex Yellow Pages. After meeting with clients, Felicia would head down to the design department to create speculation ads to present to businesses. It became apparent that the design bug had taken a bite when Felicia would volunteer to sit and watch the designers create the ads instead of heading back up to her department to solicit more clients. Felicia knew that with her love of computers and her love for graphic design, that she had finally found her calling. She taught herself PageMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Following a certification in Multimedia Communications, she found herself working in the design department at Dex Yellow Pages building ads herself. The genesis of her design career has lead Felicia Penza into the world of print design, working as a freelance art director at an advertising agency, a lead graphic designer of 944 Magazine, and currently working in the design department at Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon. Felicia is currently enrolled to officially procure her Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from Full Sail University and is expected to graduate in 2013.
